Dear Tara,

"When planning my wedding for November 2012, the most difficult part was choosing someone to officiate. To read a small piece by someone on an online list, and see a few pictures does not really give you a sense of what that officiant's personality is like, or how they will capture the day. One of my mother's friends had recommended a Justice of the Peace from New Hampshire, and that was absolutely the worst correspondence that I have ever encountered, let alone concerning my wedding! This woman did not return my calls, or e-mails, kept forgetting all of the information that I had given her, and unabashedly requested that I change the date and time of the rehearsal. I was absolutely panicked, and distraught, until Tara was recommended to me.
I had worked with Tara a little bit in the past, but was nervous about asking her, as at that point the notice was so short (within the two month time-frame). Tara was not only a life-saver, but a huge asset to the ceremony! She was very obliging about the time-frame, and met with my fiancée and myself beforehand to get a sense of how we were as a couple. She helped us to tailor the ceremony to exactly what we wanted: she had a list of questions that we filled out-- that made the ceremony really unique to us. She even incorporated poetry from a few of my favorite authors, and gave us the option of reviewing what she had written before the wedding day. Tara knew exactly what to incorporate out of what we said about each other to make the ceremony sentimental, but also had people chuckling at some points--we laughed, we cried! I am so impressed with Tara's work, her professionalism, and her overall demeanor. I would definitely recommend Tara to anyone and already have! She was more than a life-saver, she made our wedding memorable." ~Julia & Andrew 2012 |
